A new horror dream team resurrects one of cinema's most iconic monsters in UNIVERSAL MONSTERS: CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON LIVES! #1.

Acclaimed writers Dan Watters and Ram V join artist Matthew Roberts for a terrifying new story that ventures deep into the Amazon and brings the legendary Creature back to the page.

Years after the events of the original film, journalist Kate Marsden travels into the heart of the Amazon while hunting a notorious serial killer. As she closes in on her target, Kate encounters an unexpected presence lurking in the depths.

Is this mysterious creature a friend, a foe, or something far more dangerous? The hunt is about to bring her face-to-face with the legendary Creature from the Black Lagoon.

An ideal addition for Universal Monsters fans, horror collectors and readers looking to experience a modern continuation of the classic monster story.
